Debt Payoff Tracker

$9.00 CAD

A spreadsheet that tells you which debt to pay first, and what it costs you either way.

Put in up to six debts. It runs both methods side by side: highest interest first, and smallest balance first. You see the payoff date and the total interest for each, so you are choosing between two real numbers instead of two opinions.

What you get

One file. Open it and the first thing you see is a Start here page with three steps, so you are not staring at a blank spreadsheet wondering where to begin. Inside that file:

  • The tracker, which works in Excel, Google Sheets and LibreOffice
  • Both payoff plans calculated for you, month by month
  • A How this works sheet covering what it assumes and where it will be wrong

Honest notes

This does not reduce what you owe. It tells you the order to pay in and what that order is worth. Sometimes the gap between the two methods is small, and when it is, the file says so rather than pretending otherwise.

Credit cards charge interest daily and usually shrink the minimum payment as the balance drops. The tracker works monthly with a fixed minimum, so your real payoff date will differ a little. That is written on the face of it, not buried.

Refunds

14 days, no questions. Email hello@clearlinegroup.ca and we refund you. You keep the file.
